Lockout/Tagout Equipment-Specific Procedures

Under the OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.147, certain pieces of equipment require hazardous energy control (lockout/tagout) procedures. CMI's consulting staff has developed over 5000 equipment-specific lockout/tagout procedures. Procedures are verified and proven to isolate equipment from their power sources.

We work closely with the client’s key maintenance and operations personnel to provide lockout/tagout procedures in a simplified format to ensure the proper safety techniques.

We have interacted with various software programs such as PeopleSoft, TagsPro, Maximo, and Redtag Pro for input of procedures to coordinate with client work orders.
