MSDS Update Services

Compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) can be a challenge for most companies. Keeping track of current sheets, updating requirements and archiving outdated or inactive sheets can and does create a compliance issue.

With violations for MSDS being one of the top OSHA citations CMI has developed a unique approach to assisting our clients.

CMI uses a multi-phase approach:

  • Inventory chemicals at your facility or jobsite.
  • Inventory current MSDS book.
  • Remove and archive inactive chemical sheets.
  • Update active chemical sheets from the manufacturers.
  • MSDS are organized and inventoried by manufacturers and chemical names. This allows for quick employee access.
  • All sheets are issued a unique number and are computerized in PDF format.
  • Clients are provided with an updated MSDS book, inventory and everything on CD in PDF format.

Ongoing update services ensure MSDS stay current and takes the burden off company personnel in keeping the sheets and books in compliance with OSHA requirements.
